In short: Viha has no accounts, ads or trackers. Routes, trip history and settings stay on your phone. We don’t sell or share your data.
1. Data Viha handles
Your starting and destination addresses, route and landmarks are stored only on your device. Apple Speech Recognition processes voice commands; recordings are not saved or sent to us.
2. Third-party services
To build routes and find landmarks, the app sends route coordinates to Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap (Overpass, OSRM) and Mapillary (junction photos). If you enable ElevenLabs, your guidance text is sent to ElevenLabs using your key.
3. Microphone and speech
The microphone is used only for voice commands and only when you enable them. You can turn access off in your iPhone settings.
4. Surveys and support messages
If you complete a survey or contact support, we store your answers, name, email and message (if provided) only to improve Viha and reply to you. Support messages are sent to our support inbox. We do not store IP addresses. To request deletion of your data, email us.
5. Children
Viha is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
